The Siddiqiyah model adopted by Sabeel forms the cornerstone of the Sabeel Curriculum of excellence. It seeks to produce a Siddiq, one who excels in all of the areas alluded to in Suratul Asr. Sabeel has produced a carefully balanced approach that ensures development in all of these areas over the 3 years.
The areas we focus on are:
Iman, Knowledge, Righteous Deeds, Da’wah, Character, Collective Unity and Skill Competency.
It is this reason that participants are encouraged to take part in the full array of activities offered in the programme to ensure maximum gains in their own development.
Retreats are the bedrock of the programme. These are where students not only develop a close brotherhood amongst themselves and with the teachers but it is a time for them to really live Islam to its fullest and where they can implement the many lessons they learn, with the hope that they continue this in their everyday lives.
Qur’an is an integral part of any Muslim’s life and we at Sabeel feel that every students relationship with the book of Allah SWT should be strong. This bespoke programme focuses on a students pronunciation, memorisation and revision over 40 weeks of classes per year with a qualified teacher.
This element of the programme covers Islamic texts delivered via an online platform. Some of the Islamic Sciences covered in the online classes include texts on Aqidah, Fiqh and Tafsir. These online classes equip a student with a foundational understanding of a Science.
To supplement the retreats and allow students to fulfil the maximum potential in the retreat sciences there are key areas that need to be explored and understood. This learning facet of the programme consists of short 1 day intensive seminars which will strengthen every students knowledge bank.
